Last weekend we were at the starting line for the fifth race of the Pro Kart Netherlands season, this time at the Vledderveen circuit. Our in-house photographer Richard Kant was there for the first time to capture the action.
The day got off to a rough start for the #59 KartKings kart, with a mediocre start and some technical issues. Fortunately, qualifying went better, and we managed to work our way up during the race. By halfway through, we were even in a respectable 4th place in our class and 27th overall.
Unfortunately, the weather threw a wrench in the works. When the rain poured down and thunderstorms rolled in, we faced further technical problems. After an earlier red flag, the race was eventually stopped completely and definitively ended.
Despite the challenging conditions, we look back on a challenging but instructive race. Thanks to everyone who attended!
